Full time ʿĀlimiyyah Programme for Brothers

Dār al-ʿUlūm al-Imām Muḥammad Ādam al-Islāmiyyah has refined its programmes over the past ten years under the leadership of Shaykh Faheem. The institution offers the opportunity to seek Islamic knowledge that is authentic and relevant for Muslims living in the West. The curriculum is vibrant and deliberate in how it is unfolded.

In the face of challenges levied against Islam, it is now more than ever that Dār al-ʿUlūm al-Imām Muḥammad Ādam al-Islāmiyyah believes that Muslim minds need to be equipped with an understanding of our traditions to help us all be steadfast and confident. However, more importantly, at the core of it all, is the need to help this generation and the generations to come, to faithfully represent the legacy of the prophethood of Muḥammad ﷺ, in a way that is universally applicable for all times and all peoples.

Students here have set out on their respective journeys at the Dār al-ʿUlūm to increase their religious literacy in a way that restores the dynamic and progressive role of Muslims in society. It is needed that a generation grounded in their faith, as well as in the current context, steps up to the plate. And Dār al-ʿUlūm al-Imām Muḥammad Ādam al-Islāmiyyah is here to help facilitate this process.

Dār al-ʿUlūm al-Imām Muḥammad Ādam al-Islāmiyyah offers students a culture where one will strive to reach the highest standards. The institution operates with a seriousness toward studies and academic structure. While there is support found in teachers and students, the Dār al-ʿUlūm al-Imām Muḥammad Ādam al-Islāmiyyah curriculum also offers autonomy to the student and provides a platform for critical thinking, which is why the course is rigorous and comprehensive. In approaching subject matter in this way, Dār al-ʿUlūm al-Imām Muḥammad Ādam al-Islāmiyyah helps to develop the Muslim mind and offer a spiritual and intellectual home for learning and discussion. For us, it is not about how many students are learning onsite, it is about the quality of teaching, the calibre of the curriculum and the ability to understand the implications of classical Islam in our context.

At the Dār al-ʿUlūm, we are committed to making sacred knowledge as accessible as possible. Our six-year programme is designed in a manner that is inclusive of Islamic scholarship infused with tazkīyah, spiritual custodianship and community leadership. There is also an opportunity to amalgamate the programme with tutoring of a list of A-levels offered.
