What we offer
As an institute for advanced Islamic Learning, we offer educational programmes for structured Islamic knowledge.
The Dār al-ʿUlūm aims to add value to existing paradigms of higher education through the following programmes:
❖Saturday weekly Tafsir for Sisters
❖Friday night weekly Majlis for Brothers
❖Full time ʿĀlimiyyah Programme for Brothers
❖Full time ʿĀlimiyyah Programme for Sisters
❖The Taḥfīẓ al-Quran (memorisation of the Qurān for Men)
❖The Taḥfīẓ al-Quran (memorisation of the Qurān for Women)
❖Five time Salāh and Jummah
❖Ramadan and Tarawih Programmes
❖I’tikaf
❖Events/Jalsah and Workshops
❖Research and Publications
With a diversity of programmes, the Dār al-ʿUlūm has something to offer every adult seeking Islamic knowledge. In doing so, our aim is to offer these services through the lens of traditional Sunni understanding — the added value that incorporates the need to procure salvation in the Hereafter.
